En los versos que escribo
Bajo esta media luz, a medianoche
Sintiéndome medio dios, y medio escoria

Espero que esta tinta que derramo sea testamento,
Del ser que guía la mano

Bajo la guardia.
La obscura noche calienta el frío mármol de mi condena
y se derrite, asfalto de mi agonía,
y de mi esperanza

Diría que es mi mente la que escribe,
pero cada noche, a media luz,
me vuelo mas demente.

No,
Oh, hipócritas, soberbios mis ojos punzantes y mis labios cortantes
que con altivez al mediodía proclaman cordura

Y asi, una noche cualquiera,
derramando tinta en versos sinsentido
me doy cuenta,
que estoy buscando luz en una mancebía
al buscar humanidad en estos versos

A media luz el engendro no se vuelve humano,
a media luz el maniático de ahoga en su locura,
a media luz el promiscuo hace el amor,
a media luz el piromaniaco incendia su casa,
a media luz mis versos se vuelven poesía
y sangran vida,

pero no humanidad.
