Your awesome and heroic sacrifice,
Your battling in this extraordinary war,
Such as the world has never seen before

While battling and beset on every side
You feed the nurse the people while you fight
Your speed! - what speed! - and your efficiency,
The “willing” and “unwilling” have to see!.

What extraordinary strength you show!
While lofty majesty gleams on your brow!
Our hearts are throbbing loud with awe and pride
Our prayers are with you by day and night!.

So far above the poets’ writ you are,
As stellar dust is from the morning star,
And humble poets’ words are merely chaff
You are the golden wheat - yours is our love!

Your wounded speak: “heal quick-to fast go back
To fight for people’s freedom in Iraq”-
Such is the tongue of angels and on high
St. Michael, fighter Prince now must stand by.

The world owes you so much - it saw the fall
Of Satan tumbling from his pedestal,
Intrepid heroes! - you made history,
And changed its course by splendid soldiery!

What glory! - shining bright you heroes are!
You shamed the wiesel troica anti-war,
Made Baghdad Bob evaporate like mist
Made of his ministry hash, grit and grist.

Your works Oh troops, heroic and sublime
Are far above a poet’s verse and rhyme,
To well express the admiration due,-
Our hearts overflow with pride and love for you!

It's easier to believe that your country is always doing what's right.
And that's what the Japanese are doing right now - teaching their kids the Pacific War was to establish an "Asiatic Sphere for Prosperity", while covering up the more horrific abuses they perpetrated.
