Iridescent moon, spilling light
into the naked air of my room
With shimmering milky fingers
your draw is so complete
You absorb me as though I could dissolve
into the tiny fraction of peace
you allow the clutter of my soul

Your radiance softens the edges of disquietude
and bearing all things
you carry moments in your arms
from which glitter is scooped
and furnished into dreams,
then littered like fairy dust
across the sleeping world

My love intensifies
with each phase of your joy
until full, you overflow the sky
splashing down until the earth is drenched
in the blush of your majesty

You bring an intimacy into this write showering the moon in all its glory. The moon is beautiful with its hypnotic energy and your imagery displays that in a splendid way. So powerful with its ability to bestow a calm upon the mind and something that is always able to be counted on. Another gorgeous write and a pleasure to read.

This is simply beautiful and touching, a token of adoration for a very personal moon. I especially loved the expressions "milky fingers", "from which glitter is scooped", and "in the blush of your majesty". Brilliant.

It's a poet that talks of clutter of the soul and softening the edges of disquietude, there's a purity to this and I agree with urban there's an intimacy as you claim ownership of a powerful force of Nature

Oh My Marie.........you've out done your poetry with this one for sure.
On a dark laden, and sad night, how could we ever survive with out the moon to help us endure?
So comforting, like a beautiful chandelier hanging on nothing in the sky.......
I just love your poems Marie, so truthful, without any lies!!!
Wondrous too
Warm love
consue

What a beautiful tribute to love, the moon, and perhaps, love of the moon. I have a strong infatuation with the moon, so naturally your title intrigued me, *smiles*. This has such an enchanting air about it, surreal and soft. Absolutely beautiful. I love it. Thank you for sharing with us, Achelois.

Warm Regards,

~S.

Ugh, back to the drawing board for me...It's hard to feel like much of a poet when my breath is caught in my throat from your ridiculously poetic verse. Good lord, lady! If I were the moon, I would shine just for the lovely way you made me come alive with your words. Exquisite.

Enough is enough. Come back already.
