I have an angel
And she stays with me
She walks me to school
And is as pretty as can be
Her name is Lilly
She likes to play
Her favorite month
Just could be May
But once in a while
She gets a sad look
In her eyes
She says it's just the book
She keeps one book
Right by her side
She doesnt notice
The world slide on by
She is Angel Lilly
She loves to sing and play
Her favorite animal
Makes the sound neigh
No one understands her
Of the pain in her heart
If I didnt know her better
I would say she was the angel of dark
She is happy but she is sad
She knows her way around
She knows how to dance
And she loves to go to town
So I am glad I have her
My little angel Lilly may
Now if you would excuse me
Me and Lilly are gonna go and play
