Imitate fearful eyes
Radiating lies and hate
Burn into the soul
This color
This fate
Break this cycle
And even gods will bleed
Born of its own
In this image presupposed
Shackles of desolation is what keeps them bound
Unable to breathe
Unable to speak
The entirety of their being
Weary and weak
Liberate empathy from words written down
Hence this senseless divide can burn to the ground
Trapped in a freedom that perpetuates abhorrence
This incongruous legacy leaves all of us blind
Abandoned to dwell in a ceaseless revulsion
Unable to contemplate the quintessence of love
Shatter this hollow halo-
Release us from this bright light burden
Blinding us into darkness
Before
We fall from grace
Whilst dancing around
And fail to notice our humanity drown.
