A Call For Daddy

Contributed by Sexygirl on Wednesday, 26th May 2010 @ 05:56:02 PM in AEST
Topic: FamilyPoems

I wake up every day in hopes to find you....
My little sister of one year old misses you too....
No matter where I would look,
you were not to be found.....
I can still hear my little sister calling your name....
Can you hear her too, we both miss you....
No matter how many times we would look
out the window, you never came around......
You once use to hold us so close to you
as we rubbed noses......
Things now at home with Mom will never
be the same...
We miss your kisses that once use to
tickle our noses...
Can you ever remember all the days we
shared....
To hear your voice on the phone that says
you cared....
Today things are so very different and
moving so very fast.....
There will always be something
missing in our hearts.....
Bits and pieces of love will be
remembered from the past.....

The responsibility that we have as parents to ensure that our children feel complete I believe is the greatest responsibility we can have in this life and you have outlined exactly what happens if that responsibility is not fulfilled.......there will always be something missing in our hearts, written from the heart very sad but putting true feelings out there well written

well this is a perfect reminder to us all
that our children are the most important thing in our lifes and always should be.
Well written and well expressed.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
