songs of love

walks along the waters edge
where flowers grew upon a ledge.

Kisses
on a moonlit shore
that kept us coming back for more,

lifes been more than good to me
anywhere that you might be.

Always i believed in love
what else could i do?

if seeing was believing
i was born to look at you.

I was but a lonely verse
longing for a poem,

'till one night you took my heart
and made it rhyme with home.

Long before the night would end
in our book of life,

someone that i once called friend
i now call,

my wife.

I
believed in rainy days
songs of love
and sames old ways,

walks along the waters edge
where flowers grew upon a ledge.

Kisses
on a moonlit shore
that kept us coming back for more,

lifes been more than good to me
anywhere that you might be.

Always i believed in love
