Array ( [sid] => 160532 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => YOU WERE ALWAYS ON MY MIND [time] => 2010-06-11 08:48:40 [hometext] => If you love someone with all your heart and soul, and you lose them to death, there's no console. They always remain in your mind, and their love remains deep deep within your soul. [bodytext] =>

You were always on my mind honey, always.....
a world traveler, I waited, and longed.
romantic loving letters, floral bouquets
lifetime of "waits" in arms where I belonged.

You were always on my mind dear as you died
agonizing grief. added hopelessness, I cried.
denial complete, you'll never be dead to me
kindnesses, thoughtfulness, missed hourly.

Vowing to another, you were always on my mind,
a selfish, sick, unfeeling man, tortured, unkind.
you were always on my mind, your love steady
sustained like an anchor of lasting safety.

39 years without your arms, your touch
did I remember to say, "I love you so much?
my heart was buried with yours eternally
'Til I see you again, you'll always be in
my mind and heart chastely.

I was 33 when he died........
He was the kindest man
I've ever known
I created this just for him.

How Do I Love Thee?
By Elizabeth Barrett Browning

How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.
I love thee to the depth and breadth and height
My soul can reach, when feeling out of sight
For the ends of Being and ideal Grace,
I love thee to the level of everyday's
Most quiet need, by sun and candle light.
I love thee freely, as men strive for Right;
I love thee purely, as they turn from Praise.
I love thee with the passion put to use
In my old grieves, and with my childhood's faith.
I love thee with a love I seemed to lose
With my lost saints,-I love thee with the breath,
Smiles, tears, of all my life!-and, if God choose,
I shall but love thee better after death.

This reminds me of Clenched Soul by Pablo Neruda. If you've never read him you should. I don't much care for reading poetry (the irony), but his writing is simply beautiful. The man himself was kind of shady...but that can be said of us all.

keep it up. always, abraham

Absolutely beautiful,if there is a definition of femininity its when a woman has such love for a man, and if that love is true it never ends even with tribulation or death,Beautiful picture of happiness and a lovely tribute xx
