Array ( [sid] => 161325 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Tranquility [time] => 2010-07-23 05:33:00 [hometext] => A simple poem about morning and the tranquility it brings for me. How about you? [bodytext] => Morning seems so far away
On horse back riding through the day
The sun is hot upon my back
I've lost myself down a one way track
To tranquility, sweet tranquility.

Morning is a friend of mine
In the soft dawn light she looks so fine
Laying there on the mountain side
I can feel the love in the tears she cried
For tranquility, sweet tranquility.

Morning makes me think of you
Your soft brown eyes and hair of dew
Standing there by the mountain stream
You've lost yourself in a splendid dream
Of tranquility, sweet tranquility.

Morning makes me love you more
Than I did yesterday and the day before
Hand in hand at the mountain's edge
We'll fly away on a solemn pledge
To tranquility, sweet tranquility. My fave topic to write about...Mother Earth and all her many gifts.
You have definately inspired my pen and so I will be writing tonight.
I ABSOLUTELY adore this piece, not just because of its subject but moreso because of the way you write of beauty and tranquility.Sooo relaxing to read.
Thank you!!

Blessings
LW

In the still, still, of the morning Dennis. When everyone is still! My thoughts begin to drift at will.
This is lovely dear Dennis, and so like you. Your Analogies amaze me. Leave me feeling your Tranquillity!
Warm love
