That makes us use the words we couldn't normally find I guess it's what we feel, sometimes we're over keen That makes us say the things that we don't really mean The words we use cuts through like a knife Sometimes we can never repair a broken life Some will forgive and forget Some will forget it all But others will put up their defences And watch as you fall Saying 'Sorry' just won't work now Crying is not the key Your only way is to plead And hope for sympathy Why do we hurt the ones we love?
