Can we take a step back without falling? Can we take a look back without stalling?
We say all that's past, has passed us over way too fast, and all that's calling will never cast the same body.
Within the marrow Within the sands We let hands move us past one another. Without a look eventually we bump into another. By then there is a different tune humming of a different storm that's coming. And by then do we really know what's down? Or up from all the things we've found?
Time is limited Time is found in the lockers of the bound, Among the workers of the hands.
Within the limitless endings, There's a tick that talks of envy Of a place that's lending Numbers to the space bending Fortunate.
Yet even to those favored, Whose time has wavered There's a price to a pay. A price payed in memories, A price payed in days displaced.
