I was baptized with the light from my television
By the patron saint homer Simpson
Growing up my best friends were Tommy pickles and two angry beavers
Now I hang out with Eric cartman and peter griffin
One third of my life is devoted to sleep
One third to actually living
A sixth to thinking
And the rest to whatever is on from 4 to 10 Pacific Time
By the time I die 7 years of my life will be trapped behind a glass screen
With the likes of dr. Phil and commercials for mister clean
What ive seen has left me numb?
im a callus and I like it
Who needs emotion when the cast of Lost can do it for me?
And better for that matter.
Im married to my couch
She knows everything about me
From my nervous fidgeting
To the way I talk to myself when im bored
She likes it best when I lie on her belly down
With one eye closed and drooling
But last week we had a fight
And now were in a trial separation
Were seeing other people
I think Mother Nature is a lot sexier
By this time next week the paperwork will be filled out
Im divorcing that witch she never loved me for who I was
She just liked it when I sat on her face
