Mid-Night Dreaming
The room is dark, too dark to see
but she is there I can feel her presence
softly she calls me over
fumbling in the shadows
reaching out for some validation
to calm my wild and unrestrained mind
she is soft to to the touch
I feel her warm breath on the nape of my neck
and her touch caressing at my heart
her scent is intoxicating
it makes my pulse race
gentle beads of sweat form on my skin
this is all so alien to me
unsure yet unafraid
our lips meet and her kiss makes my head spin
in the darkness and the silence
our love is born
