Rhythm of my heart

Love seemed impossible,
trust was never assumed,
until the day that i found you.

Your blue eyes paved the way to explore feelings i had never felt,
to emotions that never seemed to exist,
when leaves fell, to snow melting away,
I never once had a gloomy day.

You changed my life for richer and poorer.
You kept me happy within every border,
I grew to love you , though i wasn't sure it could be,
I realized the most precious gift of love, God has ever given me.

I cherish those lips of fine puffy pink,
I cherish the person i adore above and beneath.
I've never a thought of losing you,
because you are everything i've known to be true.

I'll marry you someday, just as you asked,
just promise to never let go of all that we've already passed.

I'll love you till death makes us part,
you've fulfilled every beat, every rhythm of my heart.
