I hope you remember me
I hope you forget me
I hope youre someone different now
I hope you find yourself
Staring at nothing
Trying to find my face,
Wondering where youve seen it before
I hope I pass you on the way to somewhere
And I look familiar
But you cant remember my name
I hope you wake up in the middle of the night
Disturbed inside, terrified of remembering
More than nothing
I hope you tuck me away
So far in the back of the cave
Dust, cobwebs, forgotten,
Leaving only my skeleton
Put me in a box
Labeled do not open
Trap me inside
So you dont feel a thing
Because thats what Im doing
Its all I can,
This cold loneliness I call home now
But I can barely remember your face
