Somewhere beyond this splendid view Of lakes and mountains There is a vision I have of you.
Soft summer breeze, a tender touch, On my well lived in face, And oh, I need you both so much.
One day these mountains will fade Into a kaleidoscope of memories That the three of us have made.
And if life is a demon, you are my angel there, In harsh winter or soft spring, You are the moon's smile, the sun's warm stare.
So here it is, the ultimate view, Of towering mountains, shimmering lakes, A vision my love, of the landscape and you.

What a stunning piece of poetry with a head on collision of imagery and well executed writing. This truly is a fantastic piece of work. Well done.

I applaud!
'So here it is, the ultimate view,
Of towering mountains, shimmering lakes,
A vision my love, of the landscape and you.'
I hope she has read this!
