burned signs
capital cowards
impregnating crime
bring back the sixties
bring back the seventies
bring back the VW vans
and the weed
hug your sisters
lean on brothers
give thanks to hippy
fathers and mothers
where is Woodstock
where are the towers
you'll kill us all
in this quest for power
don't smoke here
don't smoke there
while you're at it son
why don't you cut that hair
soon a citizen without a home
soon animals unable to roam
keep the new world order
along with your chains
right here right now
we sing for the plain
we are the future...
now give us back our flowers

All I can say is right on!While I am a child 0f the 80's
when I see the energy of the 60's and 70's
I know so much was lost when this place became a war machine
via those in power
this passage is truely an inspiration
the movement will never die but it seems they
just throw more obstacles on the path to hinder it
well written
