Darkness. Cold. Alone. Mist.
I walk in the woods, I expect nothing.
But I sense a presence of someone, or something.
A glow in the bushes, brighter and brighter.
I approach it, becoming lighter and lighter.
Through the cold night air. Through the woods, I run.
Stopping for nothing until the running is done.
Running. Running. Running. Running
Faster! Faster! Faster! Faster!
HOTTER! HOTTER! HOTTER! HOTTER!
Fire. Flame. Inferno. Combustion.
I see the light, flaring of a thousand suns,
Like an explosion of a million firing guns.
Dancing in the nights cool air,
With a flaming passion flowing through your hair.
Hotter than an iron, burning red.
Brighter than the moons light, it spreads.
Burning! Igniting! Heating! Dancing!
A rage of a thousand equine souls,
Prance, beast, prance! As the fire whips and rolls.
Your eyes, deeper than the seas trenches.
My heart incinerates as your power clenches.
POWER! FREEDOM! LIGHT! MADNESS!
Faster than a meteor strike!
Piercing my heart like a steel spike!
Your legs kick as fast as thunder.
Your tail swirling, a magical wonder.
Whining so loud with an ear blasting yell,
A flaming body with the fires of hell.
Rain. Smoke. Water. Cool.
The fire dies, and the dancing stops.
I hear the sizzling when the water drops.
Your body, the fire, it dies out.
Darkness grows in the forest throughout.
Power fades. Excitement drains.
Its cold, like the blood flowing through my veins.
Lifeless, even more than dead men,
Disappearing until Im alone again.
Darkness. Cold. Alone. Mist.

| I like this! The verses were constucted in a very dynamic rap verse style and yet held the beautiful descriptive depth of poetry.....a good synthesis...... |
