Wicked Enchantress with eyes of green,
Driven by evil to plot and scheme!
Everlasting love between Prince and Princess,
Only fuels the fires of her wickedness!

A Princess imprisoned and robbed of choice!
Never to hear the call of her Prince’s voice!

Evil banished her love and buried it deep,
The earth now its castle forever to keep.
Then It banished her Prince to land far away,
Both living their sadness day after day.

A flower of death grew from love denied,
And with tears of blood then lilies cried.

On snowfall drops of crimson flows,
From every tear there sprang a rose.
The sweetest perfume of love so fair,
A scent unknown from flower so rare.

Love banished to the depths in earthy tomb,
Yet from desperation sprang a perfect bloom.
Princess is dying and paying the highest cost,
For prince and princess their future seems lost.

In through a window his destiny calls,
As in to his hand a rose petal falls.

It seemed like a message from the gods above,
As he could feel the warmth of enduring love.
And so onward he journeyed as a travelling stranger,
Through lands far and wide he faced many a danger.

Through the snow ,exhausted fell to his knees,
Then up to follow petals carried by the breeze.
Eventually they lead him to lilies crying their tears,
And he added his own with the release of his fears.

Reward for his pursuit and endless endeavour,
Was their hearts reunited forever and ever.

I think you're getting better and better with every new poem. Not only have you told a great story you rhymed it with a perfect flow without anything at all seeming forced. Now that is damn excellence!!!!

It is truly a fairy tale poem. A story gradually unfolds effortlessly with perfect rhyming and beautiful metaphores.
