Upon Considering
Sweet, ineligible figures
Scribbled deliberately
Over tendons and veins
In ignorance of cold rain
And intoxicated, painful
Thoughts, I remember
Time writes everything
Backwards
Blond hair
Red
Brunette with
Brown eyes and
Broken smiles
Carved into the shallow
Ridges of my left hand
Left to simmer over
Decades
Left to dwarf old scars
Left in the name of love
(Love is
Only a word,
Remember)
In the name of
Blood soaked and
Saturated shirts
And Broken boxes
The words
The words destroy everything.

This sent shivers up my spine. There is something cold and dark that surrounds time and the control it possesses is awesome. An outstanding write that is moving and intelligent.
