Fine champagne, a single malt, a humble glass of beer.
Put a log on the fire, watch the flames as they dance,
You and me will dress the tree and leave northing whatever to chance.

We'll place the presents under the tree, carefully one by one,
Tomorrow morn when Christ was born, the kids can have their fun.
The day is slowly darkening, the wind is a contented sigh,
Boys and girls watch the swirls of snow in the Christmas sky.

Midnight carol service, walking home in the snow,
Sleepy heads snug in beds, dreaming of Santa you know.
Back to the house and the fire's warming glow,
Now the tree is dressed it looks it's best, a bright sparkling show.

So let's sit here a moment and raise a glass or two,
We'll see the family for dinner but for now it's me and you,
Clinking glasses together I have a few words to say,
Girls and boys enjoy your toys and remember, Christ was born this day. This reads beautifully like a story you tell next to a fire. Uplifting and creating the mood to perfection this is well written. The rhyme matches in fine form and the whole poem is well done. Great job and consistent as ever.
