The cold dead wind is my only companion in this desolate place. I cannot see, and I don't want to.

Why am I here... why must I be... wh...y do I feel... and why do I continually have to face it alone. I can seek no answers, because I'm so lost I don't understand the questions. I long for nothingness, I ache for emptiness, for the devoid whipping winds to exit the sands of time and deliver me to the depths of non-existence.

I fear not death, though I don't understand it. As the cold winds of the forest whip up dead leaves and branches around my exposed body, I realize that death should it come is nothing to fear compared to life. Life I do understand, and likewise life do I fear. I do not wish to live, I do not wish to continue hurting, but here I stand, and my life is tied to so many others.

The surrounding black landscape is as bleak as my dark thoughts. My body begins to shiver with the biting cold. The trees once elegant and proud aren't burning, they're burnt. Mandless, lifeless. Seasonless, treeless. Emptiness fills the void where happiness should reside. Happiness resides in the void that emptiness should fill.

Every leaf is a piece of my shattered heart. Every snowflake is a shard of my broken soul. I feel as you feel, I love as you love, I cry as you cry. Though I am a glad to be a part of you, I don't understand you. Love if you will, die if you won't. Love as much as you can love, and hate as little as you can hate.

You are never truly alone, never, if you reach out to touch it. It is there for all of us.
