guided by the ancestor stars
finding our treasures through thick and through thin
guided by the ancestor stars
with our charts and our maps through the thunderous din
guided by the ancestor stars

we looked for the day before time begins
for the fountain of youth on this eternal island

sailed over the ancient sea looking for me, looking for me
but instead i found you, i thought i was dead
but instead i found you, i thought i was dead
but instead i found you, i thought i was dead
throw my maps into the fire, i thought i was dead

guided by the ancestor stars
and everywhere we landed we looked for the sacred
guided by the ancestor stars
and everything we built we built for the ancient
guided by the ancestor stars
to launch just in time to save the age golden
guided by the ancestor stars

all the heroes slain on the battlefield there
who crossed the black holes in a sea of despair
from the tragedy of connections broken wihtout care
to the mass weaponizations of people everywhere

i thought i was dead
but instead i found you, i thought i was dead
throw my maps into the fire
but instead i found you, i thought i was dead
throw my charts into the wind
but instead you found me, i thought i was dead
throw my maps into the fire
but instead i found you, i thought i was dead
throw my charts into the wind

i thought i was dead
i thought i was dead
i thought i was dead

do you shine? like the sun
do you shine? are you everyone?

are you everyone?
shining like the sun?

the ancestor stars
