Dark, striking figurine.
Perchedon branch against azure sky.
Ever watchful, sitting silent for long moments.

The watcher, messenger, keeper of secrets.
Straight and solid, eyes searching endless possibilites.
Beyond horizons painted before him.
Four corners of earthly tidings covered well.

He answers to no one guided by his own will.
Here one moment, chasing another dreamthe next.
Here then gone, a long feather all that is left.
Fluttering from his watch spot to rest upon the ground.

Off in the distance one last call, shrill and daunting, lonely.
fading on the winds, like a ghost of all before.
Your eyes may play tricks,no you really did not see him.
Like the wind he is gone.
On the wings of Black Crow.
