There is nothing left unsaid and undone
Just a few brittle memories of laughter and fun
Now it’s just a grey sky and a dying thirst
Cause at the starting of the day ‘Dreams Die First ‘

Oh how pretty were the days, so wild and sublime
Now it’s nothing but the rain and reminisces of those times
Every flaw is so bright that its aching my eye
Every word I said is now said to be a lie

My heart breathes a sigh for every verdict made on me
Guess things aren’t working out as planned by thee
But I was never the one who played by the rules
Guess I have to fake it since you cry out pools

It is just a matter of time for me to change now
I think I will break because I just can’t bow
Every bubble of reality is beginning to burst
Cause every starting of the day ‘Dreams Die First’

Simple wording & good imagery lead to an easy understanding of your theme. Well done. Thank you.
