One more use of human pesticide
One more body trampled and beat
Another taste of a forbidden violent treat

A story written by the gods of men
Who dictate lives from the lion's den
Immortal powers known forlorn
Kill the freedoms of men unborn

Power-hungry tyrants wild
Satanic Demon's dark love child
Elected silently to serve
The poor uneducated serf

The peasant knows not what he has done
For he has perfected the evil one
Power is a drink brewed for the mad
Whose souls are but hellfire-clad

Fire in their eyes and also in their hearts
Perfecting murders like some hellish arts
Representing peace but giving none
Unless you speak of the richest ones

Take all for my puppetmaster,
As the foundation of humanity burns ever faster
In this ending I've set my stakes
Within the destruction I've left in my wake

I say again that I come with peace
As I wade through piece after piece
Of the ones who stood within my way,
I, the one who holds power's sway [comments] => 3 [counter] => 215 [topic] => 6 [informant] => xHeathenx [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 5 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => AngryPoetry )

Corruption of power is a huge issue in government. Even countries who start out trying to limit the power of their government and its officials have a hard time actually doing so. It is a sad predicament.

Great piece on truth, the whole script on man
is already written now we are only playing it out
it seems ignorance really is bliss because many
fail to or choose not to know whats really going on
nicely delivered
