Array ( [sid] => 166357 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => Will I Be Enough? [time] => 2011-05-22 01:10:45 [hometext] => About wondering whether to hold on or let go... you are in pain, but you want to still believe there is hope... [bodytext] => After all that I have done,
After all that I've been through,
How much more do I endure,
To be enough for you?

I have tried to understand,
What it is that's wrong with me.
Why I am never enough,
And why I'll never be free.

You bind me down in chains,
Torture me until I bleed,
Then laughing you walk away.
Yet it's you I'll always need.

You may not be good for me,
But at least I feel alive.
Even if it hurts so much,
Trying to survive.

You many never realize,
What I endure for you,
But one day this love will fade,
If you don't love me too.

I can't stay forever,
In a place noone wants me to be.
I will find a better one,
Where it's okay to be me.

Just now I'm too afraid,
To brake out of the chains I'm in,
Not ready to give up on our love,
And try to begin again.

So for now I will suffer,
As you happily bind me to the floor.
For love makes me hold on,
Instead of walking out the door.

Until I realize it's wrong to stay,
Then I will tell myself to wait.
For I remind myself I love you,
And wait for this thing called fate.

When will I be enough?
When will these games end?
I don't want to keep hoping,
And living life in pretend.

So wake me up to reality.
Tell me what to feel.
I need to know now,
What is fake and what is real? [comments] => 2 [counter] => 143 [topic] => 61 [informant] => Butterflyperfect [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => selfstruggles )

I hope you gave your significant other this poem. It would open their eyes. They need to know how you feel. These are some strong feelings, and if you want a successful relationship, you need to deal with them.
