To hold to the moment
To breathe, to still be alive!

And it’s for ourselves and our non-acceptance
That we feed the struggle,
And our insecurity
That feeds the inner pain.

Sometimes it’s just enough to listen,
To hold the feeling,
To be aware
To feel the breeze.

And It’s for ourselves that we cling to yesterday,
That we won’t let go,
That we spin our webs
Of attachment and sorrow.

Sometimes it’s just enough to know,
To be going there,
To own the day,
To see the world.

And it’s for ourselves that we chose to stay there!
That we have feet in clay,
That we won’t change the pattern,
That we chase the air.

But sometimes its just enough!

Hi Anna,

We're all fish in a huge pond, so swim with the flow ... eh? - and maybe, sometimes, we lead the pack?

Nicely written, Anna - food for thought.

Have to agree with the rest on this, great piece and great sentiment.
We certainly are our own worst enemy, we are the ones who consistently beat ourselves up over things we cannot always change.
Thanks for sharing

Add me to the growing list of admirer's! Nicely done and very true. Thanks for the yank back to "staying in the moment".
