Not just any connection,
But one where it almost seems that our hearts are at work together,
Pumping what little oxygen I have left coursing through my veins,
Since she’s the one that takes away my breath at the very thought of her,
That one angelic being who that my very existence seems to coincide with,
The one astonishing woman who makes me strive to be the best man possible,
But is that same woman, who could have me crumble at the idea of a life without her,
This is a question that wonders my mind unanswered daily.
And this is me voicing my question to the world,
If you’re out there please come fill this uncertainty in my head,
This halved feeling in my heart,
And this emptiness in my soul.

Is there a soul with whom my own soul connects with?
Not just any connection,
