As my inquisitiveness prompted me to take an extra puff to take note of his detachment pain,

His innocence stopped me.

As I wished to nurture that pain to get an extra mileage to my superior,

His heartbreaking glances in my unconscious thoughts stopped me.

-----------------------------------------x-------------------------------------------------

As the eyelids gets slowly heavy because of the over influence of dark rum,

His eyes haunt me.

As tears shed from my eyes because of the unaccomplished missions,

His tears make be cry more.

-----------------------------------------x-------------------------------------------------
As the failures in life will make me will feel susceptible about the days to come.

His power of reception will give me courage

As the end will knock my doors and I will get ready for the inevitable.

He will come and say “accept it.”

-----------------------------------------x-------------------------------------------------

Why that unfamiliar haunts me until the end of time?

The name, being ditched twice.
