I know your in there.
Snug in that pretty box.
The aroma of which, when opened, will instantly make me smile, inside.
Lid lifted and smooth, corrugated cover removed, wafting the sweet air.
Then the dilemma, a choice, dark, milk, crunch or cream.
Done,.
Now reaching, teasing you out of the crackling plastic nest.
Your texture smooth and cool, savouring the moment but still watching the rest.
Then, the dull crack of tempered choc, fracturing under a gentle bite.
The flavour rich filling dances around my teeth as the case gives up the fight.
The overwhelming urge to close my eyes and drown in the whirlpool of flavours and texture.
Bitter sweet, textures smooth becoming one velvet blanket of indulgence.
Inevitably it begins to end and the last lingering echoes settle.
Leaving you to open your eyes, to gaze down on the neat columns and rows.
All present and correct, save for a hole.
One lonely hole in a sea of bliss.
I can't just leave one empty nest,
Just one more, to balance the rest
But then it all starts to looks less right.
And so it goes, into the night.

I wonder now that the box is done
Is this poetry?
Maybe ask my tongue. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 115 [topic] => 71 [informant] => leondryver [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => secrets )

delightful. you are a true chocolaholic.

Goethe said architecture was petrified music, and I say cacao is scented heaven, sweet, sweet indulgence...

where are my milk duds? Snickers, here boy...
