No one cares. I feel so down
But there is no cure.
All I can do is frown.

Trapped in a small bare box
I thought I would be safe hidden away
But I still get all those horrible knocks.
Every single day.

No matter how much I hide, run or cry
I still sit there, forever feeling the same
Others think I’m fine, but it’s all a lie
A lie inside of me, calling out my name

I wish someone would understand
I wish they would see what I feel
Maybe just offer a hand
Even if it wouldn’t make my inside heal

A lot of the time I don’t know what to do
I sit there wondering but still there are
No answers. I have no clue.
Happiness seems way too far.

Great writing even in it's sadness.
I can certainly relate, I know that feeling well, mine was a medical problem. I takes meds now that makes all the difference in night and day.
Keep writing.

'Empty' is a sad and lonely poem; but please know that there are MANY others who feel as you do. In my case, medicine helped the most. All the talking in the world was useless, Depression -- deep depression -- can be inherited -- and is most often a pure chemical matter. It's hard to see that when you are depressed. However -- isn't it odd how beautiful things can come of pain? You poem is one of those beautiful things -- born of your unhappiness... a paradox. Remember WE care -- and many more care -- but you are not able to know that now. Your poem speaks of emptiness, but you are full of the miracles that allow you to express yourself so well. Keep writing -- write about all kind of things -- maybe that will help...
