You may continue to step
And trample me down
But I will get up
Without fear and without frown
With intent I will stand
If not for me, then against you
I will not let you win
I have no fear of what you do
So continue to quell
And attempt to stop
It will be you that will fail
It will be you that will flop
And still I will rise
And you to fall
You will never stop me
With my back against the wall
You can meet me with force
And strike me to the ground
But once more I will stand
And stare you back down
I will never let you win
Nor allow you to succeed
I will continue to rise
And continue to impede
So give me your best!
And give me your all!
I will continue to rise
It will be you who will fall!

Jacob, I feel your youth bursting through
in this write. But the older you get, it will
be your failures which become your most
prized victories, because in them we Learn!
Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Edison, and
Franklin Graham Bell all tried hundreds of
times that ended in failures that would have
caused any ordinary man to simply give up.
But, pulling themselves up from the ground
gave them the wisdom to invent or discover
electricity, light bulbs, and the telephone.
Keep writing. Great rhyming scheme.

no guts, no glory. we learn from our own mistakes and shall mistakes will give us strength to make it right. we continue to fight to the very end until one is the victor and one is the failure...
