I think of you now up there
Way up high above the air
I wonder when I’m going to die
I wonder if I’ll care

You know how much I miss you all
How often that I always call
Upon you to assist me
To prevent me from a fall

I’m scared to think I’ll join you
But join you I must do
I need to know the where and when
And what I will accrue

I do not want to waste my life
I care not if it’s stress and strife
I want to carry on our line
And take of me a wife

And when it comes and I am there
High up in the angelic air
Will I be looking down on those
Who think it isn’t fair?

Will I be looking at my son
Who after all when said and done
Should think like me and be like me
Whose questions I must shun?

Will he be staring up at me
With hand on heart no trace of glee
Emploring me to answer him
From questions set him free?

So tell me I beseech thee
Hear my sad and sorry plea
Will it hurt will it be long
Till you I’m there to see?

You’ve heard my call but not replied
My course in life I must decide
But know you all now I declare
I long to be there by your side

What a beautifully well-written poem! The flow and rhyme scheme make reading quite appealing, not to mention the theme applies to each and everyone as inquisitive individuals. God bless and may Christ guide you through this life and giving you joy in the next,
Deidra

Moving on is pretty hard especially when you lose someone dearly close to your heart, all the pain with all the cries that we feel, we just had let it out, but the hard part is their memories that they had left with us, they may be gone in this world but they would remain in our hearts... nice and beautiful poetry...
