Then after Katharine was made a wife
King Laurence sailed for Ashkelon with knights.
Prince James assumed control of English life
and he began to question most duke rights.
That freemen be judged by kings overwrites
not constitutional fiats king signed.
It seemed as wee to those of lesser lights.
Dukes knew this seemed the way of tyrants kind,
but rogue dukes leagued to James in secret didnt mind.
And those who tied themselves to James did try
to proselyte Duke Morley into scheme.
But he declined solicitations lie,
for he did rightly know cabals extreme.
Capricious rulings, truly, yea doth seem
unfair to freemen, Englands life and soul,
oppression freemen couldnt even dream.
Prince James did seek to rule with gross control,
such rule, duke aye thought, might extract tremendous toll.
