Tell you how I feel
A mixed array of words spinning around in my head like the debris of a small town devastated by a raging toronado
This is the best I can do cause thoughts and words aren't always meant to be understood by everyone
I'm laying this worn out battle scarred heart on the line
The thin fragile line I feel the need to walk whenever it comes to you
So thin it's sometimes hard to see especially in the dark
Because it is dark
So dark I'm wondering around blind with both hands out
My mind is untrusting
Untrusting of you cause what everyone else has done to mangle this quivering thing barely held together by a thread like a seam in the overstressed fabric of time
Willingly but unwillingly I'll give you my trust because lets face it I'm down in this game and the only shot I have left is to go all in
All in all the way without holding anything back not even this worn out battle scarred heart
So this is it
I'm laying down all my weapons
My sword
My spear
And yes my shield [comments] => 2 [counter] => 162 [topic] => 43 [informant] => lineman0406 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops )

that was very raw and I know exactly how you feel. I have only ever laid down my shield for one person. I wish I could say it went well, but I do not regret it one bit. When it is good it is GOOD. When it is bad... well... it feels like someone threw you in a pit of vipers haha but it is worth every minute if they are the right person. Anyway its late... and I am rambling. Take care.
