[title] => Why am I sitting there?

[bodytext] => Tonight i went downtown and walked ghosted memories of cold city streets. Not so long ago torments that took me to the edge of life. Wasted and tired. Lonely as people looked away. I sat in my old spot. I put my back against the iron gates and looked at the people as they walked past. Same cold concrete but this time I was wearing something clean. Older and somewhat wiser. And not lonely anymore. I watch the homeless walk past, wondering why I am sitting in there spot. Taking up there chances of getting spare change, leftover from someones meal. A young man playing a guitar sits with me and shares a smoke. Plays a melody the wakens this darkened night. I thank him for that memory. One that still plays now within my mind. Cold is that world with hunger and addiction. For me it was because i cannot fit into this reality. A trapezoid in a round world. Of coarse the streets were a different face. One not so angry. thieves still had honor and crack hadn't swallowed their souls. Violence was last resort. So many memories that I will never forget. Reflections of many friends that I have lost. Faded like small scars on a world that is suffering. Fading like hope that a system will care.
