Id fantasized youd come to me
Saying Darling it is time!
Ive made you wait just long enough
And today you are truly Mine!
I entered the Emerald City,
Floated over to Shangri- La!
I knew the eighth wonder of the world
The moment you dropped your bra.
A man could take many months
Planning romantic dates tis true.
With flowers and chocolates and trinkets,
To win a tender hearted girl like you!
So what can you do to please a man
Ive heard it now once a year,
Is for a woman to come over naked
And bring a case of beer!
I will stop musing for it is time
To bend over and pick up your bra.
It fell out of the laundry basket.
Thats the only thing that I saw!
Sigh!

Oh Darn, Rob! Fun poem. I got a cowboy poem I perform, author unknown, called Buyin' a Bra. It's an ice breaker with life lovin' folks but I tried it at a gatherin' of I think they was Southern Baptists in Pie Town, New Mexico durin' their church service on 11/11/11 in one of their (the town, not the Baptists) two cafes. Saw a lot of skepticism in their eyes when I started with the title but smiles appeared throughout my performance. Bras are fun! Again, it was fun to read 'n' I'll bet fun to write.
