Array ( [sid] => 16915 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Morning wood! [time] => 2003-05-02 23:45:00 [hometext] => Talk about misleading titles, LOL
The title is actually "Morning would" but the typo seems to bring such a responce. So, enjoy.

"Morning Wood" [bodytext] => Morning would you go away
and leave me to my bed
Morning would you go away
and let me lie instead

upon the thoughts
of a dream now passing
with the dawning of your light
I wish that I could return again
and go back to last night
So
Morning would you go away
and let me try to return
to reach the dream long now faded
for which that I do yearn
so
Morning would you go away
I ask you once again
Morning would you go away
and I will try and pretend

that it all never happened
that I never saw your light
and I will try to remember
the dream I had last night.

Great poem. I can honestly say that there are times I wish that the morning would go away and leave me to my dreams.
