My mind in truth is disparate,
Particles and pieces of memory
Strewn about in chaotic reverie
From the challenge of loving you.
Shivers, chills, heart exploding, pain
And joy from meeting you, tasting you,
Sanity partially restored again,
I entreat you, synthesise anew
My parts and let me think straight,
Equilibrium now and the sum of my parts
Enjoys the whole of you; my mind berates
Our language for there is in truth no way
To adequately express this momentous day;
Just how immense, this love, our memory
Of connection is. Now this chance, free
To express whilst around me life spins,
I am talked out, exhausted, who wins?
The two of us, both, my love, let it be.

In Chaos

My mind in truth is disparate,
