We ended up chatting nearly every day.
I fell for your wit, your charm and your fight,
You ticked all the boxes, every one of them right.

People doubted our love, because it’s an ‘internet thing’,
But they don’t know the happiness and the light that you bring.
So I don’t listen to their words, or the jokes that they make,
I know that you’re true, your pictures aren’t fake.

The distance means nothing; I would go anywhere for you,
You bring me such happiness, and erase all the blue.
I hope that we will meet, someday very soon,
For you, I’d strap on wings, and fly to the moon.

I’d cross mountains and rivers, oceans and seas,
Great open deserts and forests filled with trees.
I’d travel by foot; by plane; by train or car,
To get to you, there is no place too far.

In the modern age such relationships are ever the more popular. An uplifting poem. I have made many friends on-line - - why not love?...Al.

The internet thing? I just spent two weeks exploring the "internet thing" of facebook and the ego-boostin' "fifteen minutes" of promise. Got off that tricky dicky lure totally satisfied it's a waste of time fer me 'n' I went back to my "niche" of YPDC. Anymore, it's fifteen seconds of sound bytes. Hmm. Be careful, follow yer heart 'n' "trust but verify." Sweet write.
