The Forest
The leaves of green and silver
Forming into arms
Reaching upward to my eyes
Crying in the clouds
The forest floor beneath the trees
Knowing only the sunlit glove
Surrounding its hands of darkness
Knowing nothing of the heart
Beating in the ruins of its silence
Knowing nothing of the love
Dissolving in its stillness
