How can I find hope within my despair
If I can not experience sorrow
Then how can I appreciate joy
What is the true meaning of life?
Everyday I see a small light in your eye
appear from the worlds dark shadows
It is flickering in your small hands
You have protected it everyday
sometimes I close my eyes
and dream of better times
That I had when you were here
I have only my memories left
the thought of you will
last forever...
Every night I have the same dream
I see you fading further and further away
What memories I had, have drifted far east
The troubles of the world gets me down
Still though I dream
of the better times
when we were still together
nothing can break that apart
You will be apart of me
Forever...
