[hometext] => For Sarah. You always have, and always will, be the only one I can write poems like this to.
[bodytext] => Love is a puzzle a curse and a danger To lose claim of your life to some almost stranger Though we don’t see it that way we’re pleased and we’re proud We want to shout out our love, all too clear and too loud Cos love is the purest and simplest of things It gives us a taste of what it’s like to have wings To soar through the night and dream through the day And close by their side forever we will stay And though it hurts when we fall so short of their hopes We’re still bound by our love and ensnared by its ropes We do all this in fear of what we shall lose When we abandon our love and the actions was can’t choose Songs of obsession and stanzas of greed Love carving scars that continue to bleed But scars can fade and blood flows away And all we want is you now today To love through the pain and dream through the night Is the refuge we seek to retain all our might To be strong and be pure with no sense of the walls To have faith in our vision and not wake up once the sun falls.
