Yet the tears flow swifter,
They say time is the best healer,
Oh time! Hast thou got a balm, then?
A balm for this wounded heart?

For time seems only to increase its sorrow,
Deepen the wound, hasten the rivers,
The rivers of blood it cries,
Cries through these eyes of mine.

Oh time! You destroyer of all things good!
Oh you who makes memories rot!
who increases the pain of hearts,
And gives little solace to the troubled mind!

Oh you who wait for no one,
And yet make each and all wait for you
Oh time? What is thou?
Are you a creation of my own mind?
Or one of His great mysteries?

Tell me but one thing oh time,
My heart, in this world of “when” and “how”,
troubles me with this one thought,
If the Creator created time,
Then what was “before” it?

For The Creator and no time,
Is something very queer to accept,
For this small mind of mine.

Interesting lines. What is time? It's what poets try to catch, an instant once and once again forever, perhaps time is forever. Write more.

Thinking of time always makes me wonder... if someone did come up with a way to increase memory and it did not fade with time... would life not be miserable? I guess it would depend on your thoughts. Just a thought. Anyway... not a bad poem at all. Great job. :)
