My poor heart burns from your blazing fire
and the pain is too strong for me to bare
for your light is brighter than any glare
but you are still the one I desire
your voice is more soothing than a choir
and you kill me slowly with just one stare
but if I told you that, you wouldn't care
cause there is someone else you admire
Now I pick up the pieces of my heart
and try to put them together again
but I still cry cause my heart falls apart
for your fire haven't come to an end
maybe later on I'll have a new start
but as of now I just have to pretend
