the best give gift i ever got came to me the other day
i was so surprised when it came my way
it made me smile and heart beat fast
i know in my heart this was going to last
for that day i was so terribly blue
i couldnt shake my pain
i did not know what to do
for one brief moment i thought i would go insane
but just like that a miracle took place
and shook my blues right off of my face
this wonderful gift appeared out of nowhere
and shook me of my feelings of despair
what is this gift you might wonder
that took away my pain and buried it under
why it is my gift that I received from this December
and it may be hard for you to remember
the wonderful gift that i speak of
why it is my one true love
he came and swooped me up like a knight
and kissed away my pain and my fright
he came in his chariot of steel
and made my heart reel
he knew I was oh so blue
and he knew just what he has to do
he came to me and looked at me with his beautiful brown eyes
those eyes that he could no longer disguise
his love and desire for me
that together we were meant to be
so in the end--- this is what i know
that our love will surely grow
for on that day i received best gift ever
it is my one true love that will stay in heart forever
