My life jacket....

There is on thing that helps me cope
the only thing in my life that gives me hope
it helps me put my fears side
and always makes my tears subside

when my day is crummy
and I am sick to my tummy
a miracle takes place
and always puts a smile on my face

when I feel like I am about to drown
and all I want to do is frown
a life jacket gets thrown my way
and once again saves the day

this really is not a thing you know
it is you love that makes my blood flow
you give everything I need
you are MY knight on a white steed

In the darkness of night
we will be each others light
in order to deal with our plight
and real soon things will be alright

so thank you love for being my shining star
I know our happiness is not too far
and soon in each others arms we will be
and at long last we will get what we so richly deserve....
to be happy and free
