Array ( [sid] => 171531 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => America's heart [time] => 2012-03-26 16:17:49 [hometext] => I wrote this poem when the twin towers were destroyed,I wanted to share it just to see if any of the USA felt what I did on 911 [bodytext] => total destruction,
disaster & death,
America is on it's knee's,
& gasping for its breath,
struggling for the answers,
not knowing what to say,
about how our hearts were broke,
on this devastating day,
so much loss of life,
anger & despair,
we had no way to defend against,
what came out of thin air,
although they have us on our knees,
our hearts are grim & pale,
let there be no mistake about it,
America will prevail,
so in your daily journey's
take the time to pray,
for the ones caught in disaster,
on this devastating day,The hot shot poet

Very fine poem
Beautiful tribute to those who lost their lifes in the tragedy.
And the recommendation to pray is excellent.
Who prays will always prevail in the end..
Thanks for sharing
Elizabeth
