each day I'm reading poems
I'm steadily amazed
how someone's simple words
can put me in a phase
a phase that put's the mind
Right where it should be
seeing what you're feeling
It's like a destiny
a picture for each line
is what I often feel
usually I read between them
I try to figure out what's real
somehow it's become a habit
feeling what they write
Rather it's happy or it's sad
or be it day or night
that's how I've learned to read them
I never miss a part
the smallest words can tell me
if the poem came from the heart
I don't know how I do it
maybe some sort of gift
they either drag me down
or they give my heart a lift
A feeling on the inside
That no doupt to me is true
I don't know why I do it
but this is what I do
